Test #5 - Blood flow in the heart video

Blood is received from the great veins, the superior vena cava and inferior vena cava, to the right atrium.
Through the tricuspid valve (right atrioventricular valve) to the right ventricle.
Through the pulmonary valve and pulmonary arteries to the lungs. (pulmonary circuit= right side)
(Oxygenated)
From the pulmonary veins to the left atrium.
Through the mitral valve (left atrioventricular valve/bicuspid valve) to the left ventricle.
Through the aortic valve to the aorta, then to the body. (systemic circuit= left side)
